Mercedes-Benz Australia A refund has been issued for 2022 C-Class Because of the risk of short circuit.
The issue affects 2855 units produced between 2021 and 2022.
According to a recall notice issued by the Department of Infrastructure, water can enter the boot after heavy rain or using a high-pressure cleaning device.
As a result, Mercedes-Benz says moisture can lead to short circuits with a possible fire hazard.

Mercedes-Benz will contact owners of affected vehicles and request them to make an appointment with a service center to have the problem rectified free of charge.
