Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched the facelifted version of the Grand i10 Nios. The popular hatchback has also received some visual updates along with the feature revamp.
What’s New – Design
While the bodyshell and overall silhouette of the Nios remain unchanged, there are some visual changes. The front gets a new blacked-out grille with new tri-arrow DRLs and the fog lamps have now been removed. The Hyundai logo has been replaced to make way for the new logo seen on the IONIQ 5. The top Asta variant gets new star-shaped dual-tone 15-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, new tail lamps are flanked by a continuous strip that runs across the boot. Unlike location, it is only a reflection.
What’s New – Admissions
The cabin of the new Grand i10 Nios has also been upgraded considerably. Upholstry is now done in a fresh gray fabric. The dash gets a dual-tone black and gray finish. The front seats feature Nios branding embedded in them. The top-end Asta variant also gets blue colored footwell lights.
What’s New – Features
One of the major changes on the Grand i10 Nios is the features package. The new Nios now comes with cruise control, wireless charger, fast USB Type-C port, etc. Other features include:

- Smartphone connectivity (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto)
- Voice recognition
- Rear AC vent
- Smart key with push button start/stop

Engine and transmission
Engine and transmission options remain unchanged. Note that the diesel variant is no longer available and the petrol engine is now E20 compatible. This means that the engine supports 20% ethanol blended fuel according to the latest RDE standards. The engine is the same 1.2L Kappa engine that produces 83 PS @ 6000 rpm and 113.8 Nm @ 4000 rpm. Two transmission options are available in the form of a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. There is also a CNG option which is paired with the 1.2L Kappa manual and produces 69 PS and 95.2 Nm.
Color and price
Grand i10 Nios is now available in 6 monotone colors and 2 dual tone colors. There is a new Spark Green color exclusive to Nios. The other five colors are Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Teal Blue, Titan Gray and Fire Red. Dual-tone options are available in Spark Green and Polar White colors with an optional black roof.
Prices for the new Nios start at ₹5.68 lakh ex-showroom and go up to ₹8.46 lakh ex-showroom for the top-end Asta variant with AMT. The following are the prices depending on the variable:
