The 2023 BMW X7 facelift has officially gone on sale in India. With this, BMW India has introduced the latest and updated version of its flagship seven-seater SUV.
The new BMW X7 has been launched with the M Sport package as standard across its petrol and diesel variants. Both variants are manufactured locally at the BMW Group plant in Chennai.
BMW X7 Facelift: Prices
The xDrive40i M Sport and the newly available xDrive40d M Sport are priced at Rs. 1.22 crore and Rs. 1.25 crore ex-showroom respectively. Bookings for the SUV are now open online at the company’s official website and at all BMW dealerships in the country while the first deliveries will begin in March 2023.
BMW X7 Facelift: Engines and Transmissions
The X7 is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options – a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder petrol motor, and a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder oil burner. The former is tuned to produce 375 bhp at 5,200-6,250 rpm and a peak torque of 520 Nm at 1,850-5,000 rpm.
The diesel motor produces 335 bhp at 4,400 rpm while developing 700 Nm of peak torque at 1,750-2,250 rpm. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and come with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system as standard.
BMW X7 Facelift: Interior and Exterior Appearance
The new facelift differentiates itself from the previous model and other X models with a progressive front. The massive kidney grille features a newly created double bar with chrome highlights. The vehicle now has two modules that give the new LED headlights an impressive stance. Two chrome air vents flank the central air inlet.
The interior has also been redesigned. The dashboard looks more modern than ever. The new digital BMW Crew Display, which seamlessly integrates into the cockpit area and appears to float, draws the eye. Traditional BMW driver orientation, clear, minimalist design, interplay of attractive graphics, contemporary colors and futuristic textures create an immersive visual appearance.
Additional luxury features include standard air suspension, 14-color ambient lighting bar, 4-zone climate control, heads-up display (HUD), ADAS tech, Sky Lounge panoramic glass sunroof, etc.
