Skoda Auto India celebrated the success of its India 2.0 initiative against the backdrop of the Himalayas in Dehradun. A unique drive from Dehradun to Mussoorie commemorated the achievements of Skoda Auto India in the second quarter of FY23.
In the recently conducted G-NCAP test, the Skoda Kushaq received a 5-star rating not only for the protection of adult passengers but also for the protection of child passengers. It has made Kaushik India’s safest car along with its cousin the Volkswagen Taiga.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Peter Solik, Brand Director, SKODA AUTO India said, “Normally, we invite the world to our Mladá Boleslav headquarters and showcase our products. I would like to invite the world to India. We feel very happy and proud that they are the developed and developed of our India
products, which have proven themselves globally. It was an incredible few days for all of us at SKODA AUTO India interacting with experts from India and the world. Our India 2.0 heroes were in their element in the beautiful foothills of the Himalayas. 2022 has been a remarkable year for us. With the response we have received, we are confident of extending this momentum to 2023 and beyond.
Success of Skoda Auto India
Skoda India recorded the highest sales with 44,500 units sold between January and October 2022. A large part of this success is owed to the India 2.0 project and the new MQB-A0-IN platform which is built in India – for India. Skoda has also succeeded in keeping the prices of its products low thanks to 95% localization without compromising on product quality. The platform currently underpins the Kshaq and Slavia from Skoda India’s portfolio.

Skoda also announced the annual edition of Kaushik. The Anniversary variant gets ‘Anniversary Edition’ badging and stickering on the C-pillar, chrome garnish on the door sills and door end protectors. This touchscreen was previously replaced by an 8-inch screen due to the lack of a chip.
