As you settle in for the holiday weekend with family and friends, we send our best wishes from the bottom of our hearts to all. Motor1.com Team and Rambling about cars Staff Whether you’re listening, watching or reading, we’re humbled to be a part of your life, if only for a little while.
This is especially true when we can talk about supercars, and immeasurably true when we can talk about super. Jet planes. This is the second topic of discussion for this special holiday episode, which begins with the Ford GT Mk IV. No, we don’t mean the GT40 Mk IV – in case you missed it, Ford built a bonkers track-only version of the current GT as the ultimate send-off to the twin-turbo supercar. It has more aero, more grip and more power. Exactly how much isn’t known, but Ford pegs the figure at more than 800 horsepower.
Any day (and certain people) that would be impressive. But then McLaren comes along and announces a collaboration with Lockheed Martin Skunkworks. The mission is to work with the famous aerospace firm to explore new supercar designs based on the complex aeronautical software suites used by Skunkworks. For the non-aviation enthusiasts out there, Skunk Works spawned some of the most incredible aircraft of all time, including the SR-71 Blackbird – an aircraft that still tops 2,193 mph (Mach. 3.3) holds the world speed record.
The only way to top such news is with 2023 Toyota Prius price information. It may seem anti-climactic, but with the Prius getting rave reviews for its styling, it’s an affordable machine for the masses that’s slightly more expensive than the outgoing model. But to make sure people stick around for news like this, Smith made good on his promise mid-episode by drinking a shot of appropriately spicy hot sauce. Bruce boosted himself by drinking three shots of pickle juice, and Smith countered with another shot. Los Calientes. We did this to celebrate 400 subscribers. Just imagine what we will do at 1000.
