EMany a workshop needs a reliable workshop vehicle, and for quite some time now, our stallion of choice has been the 2022 Isuzu D-Max LS-U Dual Cab ute.

He did everything we asked of him – pulling race cars, picking up parts, taking us on drag challenges or just going for smoke runs. Sadly, after 35,000 km of use, it was time to say goodbye to the D-Max and hand it over to Isuzu.

A piece of news that will surely please the OG. Massacre The fans are that Turbo Taxi is all set to make a comeback very soon. Nia Bara is back from her beefing up at Dandy Engines, which you can catch in an episode this weekend. Then we’ll put it in the car and hopefully be ready to race at the Ford Powered Nationals within a month.

There’s also some great news for Trulove, with plans now to build a 1.5JZ from our spare 2JZ bottom end and Trulove’s 1JZ head. It should look good in the low nines, which would be pretty crazy for this Swedish ant!
