Honda Australia director and chief operating officer Stephen Collins has announced he will step down by next month.

Following Collins’ departure on 4 November, Honda Australia has announced that current director and Honda Australia board member, Caroline McMahon, will take over as COO.

McMahon said, “While I am saddened that my close colleague Stephen has decided to leave, I thank him for his significant contribution to Honda and look forward to the future for him and his family. Best of luck,” McMahon said.

“As we embark on the next phase for the company, we have a strong group of leaders at Honda Australia who are well-placed to take the business forward”.

McMahon’s move follows decades of experience with Honda Australia, Honda Australia CEO and Managing Director Yoshitaka Okamoto said: “Caroline is a widely respected leader within Honda and the company’s His 27 years of experience puts him in a strong position to lead the future of Honda in Australia”.
