The introduction of the new e-scooter furthers HOP Electric’s mission to provide affordable mobility to consumers. The all new HOP LEO is priced under a lakh. ALL NEW HOP LEO has a remarkable true range of 120 km. It is one of the most powerful entry-level electric scooters in the market. Its Eflow technology and voltage architecture of 72 V, 2200 W peak motor power. 90 Nm maximum torque at the wheels. The scooter is easy to handle and provides a smooth ride thanks to BLDC hub motor and Sinusoidal FOC vector controller.
The battery is an advanced lithium-ion one with an installed capacity of 2.1 kWh that can travel up to 120 km on a single charge. It has an 850 W smart charger and takes 2.5 hours to charge from 0% to 80%.
ALL NEW HOP LEO has up to 12 degrees of climbing ability and four riding modes including Eco-Power-Sport and Reverse. The rear suspension consists of hydraulic spring loaded shock absorbers. The front suspension is a straight telescopic fork. Combi brake system with disc disc brakes and regenerative brakes are used on the front and rear wheels. Both front and rear wheels are 10 inches, and both front and rear tires are 90/90-r10. The electric scooter has a loading capacity of 160 kg, and has a ground clearance of 160 mm. Thanks to its IP 67/65 rating, it is waterproof and dustproof.
The Hop LEO has an LCD digital display and no connectivity, but a third-party GPS tracker is available as an option. The scooter is offered in five different colors: Black, White, Grey, Blue and Red. A green number plate is required for registration.
