Lamborghini Sterrato, Corvette sub-brand rumor, and more: RAC #100 – Dubai Car News

Lamborghini Sterrato Corvette sub brand rumor and more RAC 100

It’s podcast time! There is a big car debut this week. In addition, we discuss the models due out in 2023.

We kick things off with the Lamborghini Huracan Strato. It’s a new, rally-inspired version of the Italian brand’s supercar. It has features like a lifted suspension, wider fenders, unique Bridgestone Dualer tires, roof rack and more. The model also marks the automaker’s farewell to non-hybrid, naturally aspirated engines.

We also discuss Chevrolet’s rumored Corvette sub-brand. For now, only unknown insiders have information. Still, it’s an interesting concept to think about. Given the success of performance crossovers from Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, and many others, the company has a model to follow if it builds a similar vehicle.

After reading some comments, we check out the news that Honda is developing a CR-V-based model with a plug-in hybrid and fuel cell powertrain. Production will begin in Ohio in 2024.

Finally, we go through the cars that will be gone in 2023. Some sedans get the ax like the Honda Insight, Mercedes-AMG CLS 53, Mercedes-Benz A-Class, Toyota Avalon, and Volkswagen Passat.

At the end of the show, Smith revealed his new daily driver. He is quite happy with it.
