The coupe comes with its sloping roofline and frameless doors and the hexagonal kidney grille gets a prominent M emblem inspired by the classic ‘BMW Motorsport’ logo at the front and rear. At the front, the air vents are larger in size than the BMW M8 and at the rear, the coupe gets a rear spoiler lip, an M-specific M8 rear diffuser and an M-specific dual-flow exhaust system with quad tailpipes. Additionally, it gets a special ’50 Jahre M’ badge, competition badging, M sport exhaust system, 20” jet black alloys with red M compound brake calipers, kidney grille in black high gloss, full leather Merino upholstery, M seat belts. And M. Headliner Alcantara Anthracite. It comes with the M Carbon exterior package which comes as standard on the new M8 which is being offered for the first time in India. The M Carbon exterior package gives the exterior a complete makeover by using carbon fiber material on the front bumper, side air intakes, exterior mirror caps, rear spoiler and rear diffuser. Customers can choose from exclusive individual paints such as Daytona Beach Blue (launched exclusively for the 50 Jahre M Editions), Frozen Brilliant White, Frozen Marina Bay Blue, Frozen Deep Green and Frozen Deep Grey.

The interior of the M8 Competition features a sporty, low seating position for the driver and front passenger. The newly developed M Sport seats are perfect with side bolsters that help both the driver and passenger to stay in the best shape. The luggage compartment has a capacity of 420 litres. The interiors feature ‘Edition 50 Jahre BMW M’ additions on the door sills, metal plaques on the center console and on the headrests. The latest iDrive 7.0 operating system also carries standard features such as navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connectivity, and BMW’s personal voice assistant. The 4.4-liter engine comes with the M Competition Package with a power output of 625 hp and 750 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 in 3.2 seconds. It comes with BMW’s Xdrive all-wheel drive system as standard paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
