After a gap of two years, Royal Enfield Rider Mania is back and Royal Enfield has created its exclusive Motorverse.
The 12th edition of Rider Mania is all set to take place in Goa between 18th and 20th November 2022. A fusion of motorcycles, music and art, Rider Mania has always attracted motorcycling enthusiasts. This year, Royal Enfield introduces MotoVille – A Village led by the story of Riding Cultures to Rider Mania. By doing so, Rider Mania will be divided into four sections, namely Motothrill, Motoville, Motosonic, and Motoshop. Each segment will offer visitors some unique experiences.
Motothrill
As the name suggests, this segment is all about the thrill of motor sports. One can get a training session from CS Santosh (India’s first Dakar Rally participant) and also get a chance to ride on the track developed by him. Also, motorsport personalities like Nani Roma (Dakar Rally Champion), and Ashish Ravane (Dakar Rally Participant) will share their experiences, tips and tricks on how to ride off-road with CS Santosh. The Motothrill section will also have a dirt track, slide school, trail school, adventure zone etc.
Motoville
Movil consists of 4 zones: Exploration Zone, Custom Zone, Cruiser Zone, and Street Zone. One can join various art workshops conducted by experts in wildlife photography, sneaker customization, mural art etc. Motoville will be home to the Royal Enfield Pop-Up Museum which will take you through the history of Royal Enfield. The UNESCO grounds will showcase indigenous tribes and other aspects of the Himalayas. Vikranjit Rooprai (renowned author, educationist, and heritage activist), Manish Mishra (one of the founding members of Photographers of India) and other eminent personalities will also share their experiences.
Motosonic
In the Motosonic section, one can experience diverse cultural influences with renowned musicians like the Tetseo Sisters, a quartet of sisters from Nagaland dedicated to the art and tradition of acoustic folk music, Parvaaz, a band that whose voice is often considered beyond the category of music. Listeners range from folk to experimental. Divine, a globally recognized Indian rapper is also participating in this celebration of diversity.
Moto Shop
More than just motorcycles, this edition of Rider Mania will also see plenty of action in the apparel world. Royal Enfield will unveil its 1:3 scale model of the Classic, a miniature and handcrafted representation of the real motorcycle. The Art of Motorcycling (AOM) Gallery in the Arts and Heritage section will showcase handpicked designs from the first and second seasons of AOM. Apparel MiY stall will have master classes on live printing bay for t-shirts, helmet painting, live helmet painting etc.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor Revealed
Among other things, what we are looking forward to is the launch/India reveal of the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. Although there is no official announcement, we hope to see this reveal at least at RiderMania in India. The Super Meteor has garnered a lot of attention since its appearance at EICMA in Italy. Rider Mania will be the perfect platform for Royal Enfield to showcase the much anticipated bike to the Indian fans.
