Las Vegas (November 7, 2022) – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan Motorsports and Customizing Co., Ltd. (NMC) Nissan/NISMO unveiled to the public for the first time, the Nissan Z GT4*, based on the all-new Nissan Z. 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additional information on Nissan’s Global GT4 Program Michael Carcamo, Global Program Director, Sports Cars, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. also revealed.
First revealed in late September. In traditional NISMO livery, the Nissan Z GT4 developed exclusively for SEMA features a unique livery that combines the heritage of vintage racing with modern design. The front hood displays the number 23, Nissan’s exclusive number, found within a circle of a rising sun that alludes to early 70s racing liveries. Additionally, new Z logos on the rear quarter panel highlight a modern interpretation of the original 240Z and Fairlady Z badging, all wrapped up in the iconic Nissan and NISMO red and black color scheme.
For Nissan Z GT4’s inaugural 2023 season, Nissan/NISMO will supply cars to pilot customer teams in the US and SRO Pirelli GT4 America Series and Super Taikyu Series in Japan, respectively. NISMO will also offer technical support. The vehicles will be supplied from 2024, with orders accepted from mid-2023.

While developing the Nissan Z GT4, NMC’s NISMO Racing division not only conducted extensive testing in Japan and the United States, but also participated in select Japanese races. The aim was to meet the needs of professional drivers as well as ensure that enthusiasts could enjoy the Z’s dynamic and exciting performance.
