WWith over 2700 entrants, the Street Machine Summernats 35 is big. The first official day began with a city cruise down Northbourne Avenue. The streets were lined with locals eager to check out the proceedings.

The last chance wild card burnout comp was very busy, with Paige putting in a brilliant display that included three tip-ins.
However, there were only three slots open for a shot at Masters glory and they went to WA’s Chris Orchard in THE OG, Billy Seton in ONTICK and Jesse Johnson in KILLAK.
The new John Patterson Burnout Hall of Fame was also announced on the pad and inducted six key figures in burnout history.

For the first time in history, Meguiar’s Great Uncover took place on a Thursday night instead of the traditional Friday. This gives punters two full days and one night to chow down on the latest and greatest.
