The Audi RS Q3 turns 10 years old in 2023, and to celebrate, Audi has created a terrifying special edition of the five-cylinder performance SUV.

Detail tweaks include an exclusive Chronos Gray paint color and unique 21 inch alloy wheels. Audi will only produce 555 total.

Obviously this isn’t a reference to Subaru’s rally heritage, but a call to the unique cylinder count of the RS Q3 engine.

Audi’s Australian arm has yet to confirm how many examples will land under them and what they’ll cost, but there are bound to be some examples.

Sharing its 2.5-liter five-cylinder powerplant with the RS3 hatch and sedan, the RS Q3 is an exclusive, high-performance small SUV that competes with the Mercedes-AMG GLA 45.

What is different?

A special score of 10 years outside the RS Q3 Edition Kronos gray paint, or optionally a matte white color called dew silver. Optionally, a carbon ceramic brake package is available with anthracite gray calipers.

An exterior black pack adds more menace to the RS Q3 with smoked matrix LED headlights, black ‘single frame’ grille, mirror caps and window surrounds.

2.5 liter turbo petrol five cylinder The engine still produces 294kW of power and 480Nm of torque. Which is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The result is a claimed 0-100km/h time of 4.5 seconds, while top speed is limited to 280km/h.

Inside, the RS Q3 10 Year sports seats get a special matte carbon fiber backing. A combination of leather and ‘Dynamica’ microfiber upholstery and RS emblems feature on the electrically adjustable front seats.

Contrasting copper stitching features on the seats and on the dash set by Dynamica. The RS Q3’s 10.1-inch central touchscreen also features a unique ‘555 ka 1’ script. Audi Sport’s usual red accents also feature on the seats, sills and badges.

The 12.3-inch digital driver’s display will carry over from the regular RS Q3, along with navigation with live traffic, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Availability

Pricing and availability of the RS Q3 Edition 10 for the Australian market is yet to be confirmed.
