BMW has launched the 50 Jahre M Edition of the X6 in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹ 1.11 crore, which is ₹ 6.5 lakh more than the standard model. This comes after the recent announcement that BMW has introduced 10 cars under the ’50 Jahre M Editions’ which celebrate the 50th anniversary of the BMW M brand. This is the 9th model launched in India and the final model will be launched soon. This limited edition X6 will come to India via CBU and can be booked online. The limited edition SUV will only be available in the 40i M Sport avatar.
BMW X6 50 Jahre M Edition – Exterior
The 50 Jahre Edition of the X6 will be available in Black Sapphire Metallic and M Carbon Black Metallic colors only. This limited edition SUV comes with a large kidney grille finished in high gloss black. The grille is also illuminated which gives the SUV a unique look. The SUV also gets 20-inch alloys in Orbit Gray and the brake calipers get a red high-gloss M-Sport treatment. Overall the car looks stunning in its all black avatar.
BMW X6 50 Jahre M Edition – Interior
While we don’t have pictures to see what the interior looks like, we do have some information about what’s inside this limited edition SUV. The layout itself will be quite similar to the standard X6 with sporty seats finished in Sansafin leather and contrasting Tacura Red stitching. The SUV gets a 12.3-inch infotainment display that is connected to the Harmon Kardon sound system. It also gets hot and cold cup holders, ambient lighting, wireless charging, etc. The car also gets a large panoramic sunroof.
BMW X6 50 Jahre M Edition – Powertrain
As mentioned earlier, the 50 Jahre M Edition of the X6 will be available in the xDrive 40i powertrain which is no different from the standard X6. It gets the same 3.0L turbo petrol mill that produces 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
