When the TVS Raider was introduced last year, it brought some segment-first features. TVS has gone further and given it some new features. The Raider will now get a new top variant – the Raider SmartXonnect TFT variant priced at ₹99,900/- ex-showroom. TVS also introduced us to TVS Motoverse – a virtual platform where the new Raider was launched.

What’s new?
The TVS Raider SmartXonnect TFT gets a new 5-inch TFT display that gets an exclusive mobile application. The Raider gets a new Voice Assist feature that will play welcome prompts, turn-by-turn navigation prompts and even tell you the weather, game scores and music. All of this is played through a small speaker that is integrated into the motorcycle. It enables users to use SmartXonnect features on Raider. Riders will also be able to access ride data through the companion app. A suite of 60+ digital features is included. Ryder is the first two-wheeler to get voice-assisted features. These voice assist features can be activated using a dedicated button on the handlebar.
What is that?
Changes are limited to the features of the motorcycle. The rest of the bike has not been changed. It gets the same styling elements and color options. The 124.8 CC air-cooled engine also remains, which still churns out 11.3 HP and 11.2 Nm of torque. The ride quality and handling will also be the same.
Overall, the new version of the Raider should be the most advanced 125 CC motorcycle in the market.
